Renna pursued a law degree after years of serving in nonprofit leadership so that she could better advocate on behalf of individuals needing assistance.  As a lawyer, Renna focused initially on civil rights, discrimination, workers’ compensation, and estate planning.  Her work as Executive Director of a senior living community prompted a renewed focus on working with elders and their families, at which time she returned to the practice of law with a particular focus on estate and elder law.  Her background helps her to advise regarding not only legal aspects but practical aspects of senior living, as well as insights relating to family dynamics generally, HIV/AIDS, addiction, and mental health issues.

Renna’s practice areas include estate planning, probate and estate administration, trust administration, asset protection, planning and applying for Medicaid, and adult guardianships.
